Withdrawing to an Icelandic bank account

Your balance on Myntkaup is held in USDC. To get krónur in your bank account:

1. If you hold crypto, sell it first. You receive USDC.
2. Go to Úttekt (Withdraw) → Bankaúttekt (Bank withdrawal) in the app or on the web.
3. Enter the bank number, ledger (höfuðbók) and account number. The account must be in your own name.
4. Enter the amount and confirm with your app PIN and by email.

Fee: a fixed 7 USDC (minimum withdrawal 15 USDC). USDC is converted to krónur at Arion banki's general buying rate for USD, with no added spread.

Timing: bank withdrawals are processed every day and usually arrive the same day, often within hours. For security, a member of staff approves every withdrawal between 09:00 and 23:59.
